Plenty of action for football fans

All the talk in Waterford this week may be about Davy Fitzgerald's appointment as hurling manager, but on the club scene there are six games down for decision in the SFC.
The action begins on Thursday night when Kilrossanty and St Saviour's meet at the Kill. Then on Friday evening, the Nire and John Mitchells do battle at Bohadoon.
There is a double header at Leamybrien on Saturday as champions Ballinacourty play Brickey Rangers and then Ring take on Rathgormack at 7.30pm.
Sunday evening rounds up the weekend's action when Ardmore and Clashmore go head to head at Ring. Throw in for this one is at 7.30pm.
