St Brigids Kevin Bonner on the attack against St Judes in the Dublin SFC semi final.
Kevin Bonner has emerged as a major injury concern for his club St. Brigid's ahead of Monday night's Dublin SFC final against St. Vincent's at Parnell Park. The Dublin star is struggling with a thigh strain and has sat out training since last Thursday's semi-final win over St. Jude's when he scored the only goal of the game. St. Brigid's manager and Armagh All-Ireland winner Justin McNulty is keeping his fingers crossed that the powerful full forward will be available for the Blanchardstown club's first county final since 2003. "Until the goal went in, the game was still in the melting pot - he is an important player for us," McNulty said. "Kevin finished the goal very coolly and it sealed the game at that stage. He has a bit of a thigh strain, but he should be okay for the final - hopefully."
