Freeman feels 'winning team' has emerged

Monaghan captain Damien Freeman believes that the main difference between the current side and the ones which failed to make an impact in previous campaigns is that current crop of players have the sheer 'will to win'.
Monaghan have shown that they are capable of coming out on top in tight battles against Down and Derry and Freeman states that every player is now giving 100% to the cause which has developed them into a winning team.
''I think the main factor was that you had a bunch of lads who came in this year and wanted to wear the Monaghan jersey and they wanted to win games,'' Freeman said
"Whatever was asked of the panel, every man did it and you can't ask any more than a man giving 100% and there is not one man on the panel who you could fault.
''Dreaming of wearing the Monaghan jersey and getting to an Ulster final is something special and I am delighted with that,'' he added.
