Limerick hurling fans are breathing a sigh of relief after it emerged that towering forward Brian Begley has not suffered a recurrence of the serious knee problems that sidelined him for two years. Limerick manager Richie Bennis admitted that he feared the worst after the recently-married Begley was forced to retire with a knee injury during last Sunday's NHL win over Antrim. "He got a belt and we took him off. We assumed that it was Brian's knee, but thank God our assumptions were wrong. "He'll be fine for the Offaly game," Bennis said.
