Former Offaly star defender Finbarr Cullen has been handed a six month ban for lining out with his club while suspended. Cullen played for his club Edenderry while serving a suspension for a red card offence he committed in last year's county championship quarter-final against Rhode. He served a four week ban back then but was supposed to be ruled out for the start of this year's campaign. Cullen is pleading his innoocence and says he didn't realise he was sidelined for this year's opening Offaly first round SFC tie. Tweet
