Ardfert…..1-7 Loughrea…0-9 A last-gasp Stephen Wallace free gave Ardfert of Kerry a dramatic victory over Galway champions Loughrea in the All-Ireland junior club football final at Croke Park. Wallace scored the game's only goal in the 20th minute, but a brace of frees from Galway hurling star David Tierney saw Loughrea lead at the break. Ardfert dominated possession in the second half, but couldn't translate it into scores. Then, after Eamonn Ferris' effort came off the crossbar, Wallace scored a pressure free from wide on the left to give the Tipperary outfit a deserved victory.
