Reilly sidelined for Cavan

Cavan's injury problems are piling up ahead of the commencement of next month's McKenna Cup with the news that Larry Reilly will be out for up to two months.
The former Ulster star and International Rules player had had to undergo a knee operation to cure a long-standing problem and his absence has come as a blow to new manager Martin McElkennon.
Reilly's enforced absence has compounded Cavan's early season preparations on foot of a new groin injury suffered by Micheal Lyng and the retirement from inter-county football of Pierce McKenna.
"Larry Reilly has had big problems with his knees for quite a few years," McEkennon explained.
"So he got the knee cleaned out and he'll be out for six to eight weeks."
