For the first time since 2014, Shelmaliers will contest the Wexford SHC final after beating Glynn-Barntown 3-20 to 0-16 at Chadwicks Wexford Park this afternoon.
The concession of three goals at crucial stages proved to be Glynn-Barntown's undoing as they were unable to repeat the performance which saw them dethrone holders St Martin's nine days ago.
They trailed 0-7 to 0-2 at the first water break and managed to draw level on 0-8 apiece before Shels snatched two quickfire goals through Joe Kelly and Sean Keane Carroll to take a 2-8 to 0-8 lead into half time.

James Cash scored Shels' third goal midway through the second half to set them on their way to the decider in which they will meet Naomh Eanna on 23 August. The Gorey based outfit overcame Oulart-The Ballagh in the second semi-final at the county grounds, 1-20 to 1-19. A Conor McDonald point deep into injury time snatched victory for Naomh Eanna in a pulsating encounter.
