Coalisland defender Michael McKernan is Tyrone's sole league debutant for their Allianz FL opening round trip to Tuam to face Galway.
Last year's U21 county captain has been named in the full-back line in which he is joined by Ronan McNamee who returns for his first start of the campaign.
New captain Matthew Donnelly and Dungannon's Padraig McNulty will form the Red Hand's midfield pairing in the absence of the club-tied Colm Cavanagh.
