GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail with his wife Frances and his late mother Katie.
GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghaíl's mother Kathleen 'Katie' Farrell (nee McEnteer) has passed away.
Mrs Farrell passed yesterday peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home Cavan.
Predeceased by her loving husband Aidan, who died in March of last year, daughter Margaret and grandson Killian, she will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tom & Bridie. Declan & Margo, Shay & Breege, Brendan & Jody, Peader & Deirdre, Aogan & Frances.
Funeral details:
Reposing at her residence in Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co Cavan on Tuesday, December 19th from 12 noon until 10pm. Removal from her residence on Wednesday 20th December and arriving at St. Patrick's Church Maudabawn for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. SUAIMHNEAS NA NOLLAG.
