Former Wexford hurler Diarmuid Lyng is known for being a quiet character off the field but at a recent TEDx talk he chose an unusual topic.

Lyng's nine-minute presentation was based around a hurl and what it meant to him throughout his life, having helped home through some dark times.

Since retiring from inter-county hurling, Lyng has worked as mental health advocate among other roles and here he tells us what memories the hurl holds to him along with the power that it gives.
