Kerry minor sensation David Clifford has been touted as the heir to Colm Cooper's throne in the Kingdom.
The Fossa youngster has blazed an impressive trail of late and the Gooch, a huge fan of the 17 year old's talent, has some word of advice for him and his coaches.
"The expectation is going to be difficult for him to manage and for all his coaches to manage because he has set a high benchmark," Cooper commented to The Irish Daily Star.
"You say he's a bit like me when I was younger - I certainly wasn't six foot like he is! He could be anything. The future is so bright for him. But that has been the case for so many great young players and it doesn't always work out for them.
"He'll be protected but he's a player you need to play all the time. I've full faith that he will get that backing from his family and from his club. He's a treasured asset and they'll take good care of him."
