Mayo netminder David Clarke has endured more than his fair share of injuries during his career and that's why he's determined to make the most of today's chance against Dublin.
The Ballina Stephenites clubman arrived on the inter-county senior scene in 2001 but his time between the posts has been curtailed by a catalogue of unfortunate injuries and stiff competition for the number one jersey from Rob Hennelly.
He has got the nod for today's showdown against Dublin and is looking forward to pitting his wits against Bernard Brogan & Co.
"We're in the final where we want to be. It doesn't matter how we got there," he told SunSport.
"We are where we are now and we are looking forward to it.
"Our aim at the start of the year was to win the All-Ireland and now we're in with a chance."
