Wexford manager Liam Dunne admits that David Dunne is in a race against time to be fit for Sunday's crucial clash against Offaly in Innovate Wexford Park.
Dunne was forced to sit out the win against Kerry last weekend due to a hamstring strain endured in training the week before.
His namesake and manager Liam told the Wexford People that they have a number of injury concerns ahead of the weekend's match.
"David will test the hamstring this Friday evening at training. We will have to wait until then and take it from there. He is still a huge doubt," said Dunne.
The Wexford manager looks set to be without Paul Morris once again as he continues his rehabilitation, but the Ferns clubman has been given some chance of playing by the former All-Ireland winner.
"Paul has done his hamstring twice. He's 50/50 at the moment but no decision will be made until Friday."
Wexford will be definitely without James Breen and Shaun Murphy for the game where a win would see the Model County into the league quarterfinals at the very least.
