The 2015 Leinster GAA Club Championship was launched today at Barretstown Castle in Co Kildare, the home of Leinster GAA's official charity partners.
At a gathering of players and coaches from county champions across the province, Leinster GAA Chairman John Horan said he expects another high profile and high quality campaign.
He said: "The AIB Leinster GAA Club Championships have gone to new levels in recent times and quality is never in doubt.
"We have an excellent record of producing provincial champions who go on to land All-Ireland Club honours and that is a testament to the quality of the AIB Leinster Senior Club Championships and I feel our football and hurling games live up to the excellent AIB ad campaign of being 'tough' to win.
"I want to congratulate all of the teams who have been successful in their senior county finals to date.
"To win a county title is special and creates heroes and memories to last a lifetime. But, to be capable of standing tall as the best in your province when the depth of the field is so great in Leinster is a prize really worth fighting for, and I wish all of the entrants in this year's AIB Leinster Senior Club Championships the very best, and look forward to seeing games and players that portray all that is good about our great games."
In hurling, there will be new winners in 2015 with last year's AIB Leinster and All-Ireland champs Ballyhale Shamrocks having been defeated in the Kilkenny semi-finals.
In football, back to back holders St Vincent's are in a Dublin semi-final and still in the hunt for more glory.
The first games in the AIB Leinster Senior Club Football Championship take place this Sunday.

About Barretstown
Barretstown was founded by Hollywood actor Paul Newman in 1994 and modelled on his renowned Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Connecticut, USA. It serves children affected by serious illnesses - primarily cancer and serious blood diseases and their families. Barretstown's mission is to rebuild the lives of these children and their families. We believe that every child with a serious illness should enjoy their childhood. The services provided to all of the children and families who come to Barretstown are entirely free of charge, so donations and fundraising efforts are vital for the charity to help more sick children experience the magic of Barretstown each year. Barretstown is supported by donations and the fundraising efforts of corporate supporters, individuals and community groups. For more information see www.barretstown.org
