New Offaly hurling manager Eamonn Kelly will once again have fellow Tipperary man Conor Gleeson by his side in 2016.

Gleeson, who captained Tipp in their 1997 All-Ireland final loss to Clare, was Kelly's coach in Kerry this year where they delivered an Allianz League Division 2A and Christy Ring Cup double. Birr's Gary Cahill and U21 manager Ciaran McDonald were also confirmed as Kelly's selectors at Tuesday night's county board meeting.

Padraig Murray, meanwhile, was ratified as the Faithful's new minor football manager in succession to Keith Begley, while three candidates are being interviewed for the U21 football manager's role which has been vacated by Pat Flanagan, who will concentrate solely on managing the seniors next season.
