Denis Corroon has gone straight back into the Westmeath team for Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Wexford at Cusack Park.

The Mullingar Shamrocks clubman, who only recently returned from a spell working in the UK, is named at left half forward in a team that shows three changes in personnel and a number of positional changes from that which defeated Louth in the first round.

Last year's captain Paul Sharry also returns after missing the Louth game through injury, while Ronan Foley - a nephew of Meath legend Kevin - has been drafted into the half forward line.

Sharry's inclusion at right half back sees Paddy Holloway moved to corner back, while John Gilligan switches from corner back to his more customary centre back role, with the versatile Kieran Martin now top of the right. Martin takes over the role from John Egan.

John Stapleton and the injured Callum McCormack are the players to make way for Foley and Corroon in the half forward line.

Westmeath (SF v Wexford); Darren Quinn; Killian Daly, Kevin Maguire, Paddy Holloway; Paul Sharry, John Gilligan, James Dolan; Ger Egan, Darragh Daly; Ronan Foley, Ray Connellan, Denis Corroon; Kieran Martin, John Heslin, Shane Dempsey.
