Fermanagh were far too strong for Louth at Enniskillen tonight, 0-16 to 0-7.
Sean Quigley top-scored for the victors, with a return of 0-7, the first four of which made it 0-4 to 0-2 after 15 minutes.
A brace from the impressive Declan Byrne brought the Wee County back into contention but Ryan Jones and Barry Mulrone pointed before Quigley's fifth free made it double scores, 0-8 to 0-4.
Byrne and Quigley traded the last two scores of the first half and a run of scores from Declan McCusker, Quigley and Jones saw daylight appear between the teams after the resumption - 0-13 to 0-7 after 61 minutes.
The visitors - stunned by the early black-carding of Eoin O'Connor - were very disappointing, while Pete McGrath's men won at a canter.
