Waterford goalkeeper Stephen O'Keeffe showed it's possible to stop an Anthony Nash penalty by charging out to block his shot in today's Munster SHC quarter-final replay.
A fearless O'Keeffe had advanced as far as where penalties are taken from in Gaelic football when he got his body in the way of the Cork 'keeper's scud missile and prevented the goal.
And just for good measure, O'Keeffe floored his opposite number with a shoulder as he remonstrated with the referee over his failure to take action against the Waterford custodian for being so far off his line when the penalty was taken, leading to a spot of argy-bargy between players from both teams.
Nash had the last laugh, however, as the Rebels cruised to victory.
