McGuinness in running for Celtic job

Bookmakers Paddy Power has installed Jim McGuinness at 40/1 to become the next Celtic manager.

The Donegal manager is in the betting alongside some of soccer's biggest names as Sir Alex Ferguson, Kenny Dalglish and Jose Mourinho have all been given odds.

However, McGuinness, who works with the SPL giants as a Sports Psychologist is ahead of those three legends in the betting.

Favourite to land the job is former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson (who this morning ruled himself out of the job), while former Everton and Man Utd manager David Moyes is second favourite at 10/3.

Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill is at 25/1, while his assistant Roy Keane could be worth a punt at 33/1.

McGuinness is priced at 40/1 alongside former Celtic star John Collins, ex-Croatia manager Slaven Bilic, Derby boss and former England manager Steve McClaren and ex-Spurs manager Martin Jol.

This weekend, McGuinness will be focused on his side's clash with Derry in the Ulster SFC at Celtic Park, but who knows where his future lies, watch this space!
