Fingal Ravens and Ballinteer St. John's opened their Dublin SFC campaigns with wins over Round Tower, Clondalkin and O'Toole's respectively last night.
Eoin O'Flaherty's late point was enough to give Fingal a 0-11 to 0-10 victory over their Clondalkin opponents in Artane. The sides were level on 0-5 apiece at the break, but the Ravens surged 0-9 to 0-6 clear before Round Tower staged a late rally to set up a grandstand finish.

Ballinteer St. John's hit the net three times in the first half to overcome O'Toole's at O'Toole Park. Dublin senior Nicky Devereux raised the first green flag with Paul Cronin and Aodhan Clabby adding further three-pointers to give the Marlay Park men a 3-5 to 1-4 lead at the break.

But O'Toole's made a fight of things in the second half, despite having goal-scorer Ryan Bergin sent off, to leave just six points in it at the long whistle, 3-13 to 2-10.
