Kerry defender Brian McGuire is emigrating to the US.

Radio Kerry is reporting that the Listowel Emmets clubman has informed Kingdom manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice that he is leaving the panel to take up a job in America. McGuire made his Kerry debut against Galway in the 2011 Allianz League and played in the narrow All-Ireland final defeat to Dublin that year.

But he had limited playing time in this year's Allianz League and has decided to head Stateside for the summer. Tweet
