New Offaly manager Brian Whelahan will hand Allianz Hurling League debuts to five players against Laois tomorrow.

Niall Wynne (St Rynagh's), Dan Kelleher (Brosna Gaels), Conor Doughan (Shinrone), Brian Watkins (Birr) and Peter Geraghty (Kilcormac/Killoughey) all make their league bows. Coolderry's Kevin Connolly also makes his first league start, having appeared twice as a substitute in the past.

Regulars David Kenny, Ciaran Slevin and Shane Dooley weren't considered due to injury.
