Denis Murphy Mount Leinster Rangers
Denis Murphy says Mount Leinster Rangers were determined not to let the opportunity to reach an All-Ireland club SHC final slip.

Speaking to TG4 after firing 0-8 in the Carlow side's dramatic victory over Loughgiel Shamrocks yesterday, Murphy said: "Once we settled down (after winning the Leinster title), we said, listen, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, we might never get back here again. There's an All-Ireland final there, to go and get to an All-Ireland final.

"We said we'd give it everything we possibly had and thanks be to God it was enough to get us over the line today."

Mount Leinster Rangers' incredible achievement in reaching the Tommy Moore Cup decider comes just two years after they were crowned All-Ireland club IHC champions.

"It goes to show what a united group can go and do, when they're all in it together, when they believe in each other and when you get all the ingredients right," the sharpshooter continued.

"We're just pinching ourselves that we're going to an All-Ireland final."
