Colm Bonner and Andy Moloney have been named as the new Ballyhale Shamrocks management team.

The five-times All-Ireland club hurling champions ratified the two Tipperary men at a committee meeting last night.

The pair had been named as co-managers of Ballygunner in Waterford before Christmas but opted to abruptly depart that position a few days ago.

Ballyhale insist that the two matters are unrelated and that they only approached the duo when they became aware of their sudden availability. Tweet
