Fermanagh's Marty McGrath
Fermanagh midfielder Martin McGrath craves a county SFC medal.
McGrath's club - St Joseph's, Ederney - have never won a Fermanagh senior title before but they have knocked holders Tempo out at the quarter-final stage this year and will take on Roslea Shamrocks in Saturday night's semi-final showdown at Brewster Park.
The 2004 All Star is hoping the Joe's can go all the way:
"I've been trying a long time to get a medal," McGrath, who was part of the team beaten by Enniskillen Gaels in the 2006 decider, tells The Irish News.
"I'm 31 now and I've watched the likes of Roslea, Tempo, and Donagh win the championship. I've seen what it means to them and what joy it brings to the parish.
"To actually go and do it would be nice. You want that buzz of winning a championship. I don't want to go through my career without winning a major medal."
