Cruciate woe for Meade
August 22, 2013

Brian Meade is helped off the field at Dunshaughlin during the hoganstand.com Meath SFC game against Skryne.
Meath midfielder Brian Meade faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury.
Meade injured his knee in the latter stages of Rathkenny's hoganstand.com Meath SFC draw with Skryne at Dunshaughlin last weekend.
His initial fears were confirmed this week when X-rays revealed that he had damaged a cruciate ligament.
It is a devastating blow to the player and Rathkenny who have already booked their place in the knock-out stages of the Meath SFC.
Royal boss Mick O'Dowd will also have to plan without his services for the early rounds of next year's FL Division 2 campaign.
