Dublin have a point to prove this year after flattering to deceive in 2012.

Having captured the league and reached the All-Ireland semi-final in 2011, they were labeled as one-hit wonders when suffering relegation in the league, losing to Kilkenny by 18 points in the Leinster SHC semi-final and making a tame exit at the hands of manager Anthony Daly's native county in phase 2 of the All-Ireland qualifiers.

Daly and his players have been making the right noises as regards not repeating the mistakes of 12 months ago and they made a good start by securing an immediate return to the top flight in the league.

As things stand, Sean McGrath is the only absentee for the team in sky blue which leaves Daly and his selectors with plenty of options to choose from.

Niall Corcoran (osteitis pubis condition), Stephen Hiney (ankle) and Martin Quilty (cruciate ligament) have all recovered from their respective injuries and are in contention to feature.

Wexford didn't set the world alight in Division 1B when finishing fourth in the table with two wins and a draw from their five outings.

Dual star Lee Chin will line out at midfield while captain Garrett Sinnott has been named at full-forward.

Newcomer Andrew Shore and Eanna Martin, who lined out between the posts last season, are included in defence by Liam Dunne.

The Model County's interest in the Bob O'Keeffe race came to an end at the same stage last year when they lost by 1-13 to 2-12 to Offaly.

It will be a surprise if they avoid suffering a similar fate this time around.

Verdict: Gary Maguire, Niall Corcoran, Peter Kelly, Paul Schutte, Michael Carton, Liam Rushe, Shane Durkin, John McCaffrey, Joseph Boland, Conor McCormack, Ryan O'Dwyer, Danny Sutcliffe, David O'Callaghan, Conal Keaney, David Treacy.
