Galvin questions booking

Kerry's Paul Galvin. INPHO
Paul Galvin doesn't think his crunching challenge on Tipperary's John Coghlan merited a yellow card.
The Kerry star was booked by referee Conor Lane after the collision which resulted in the former Footballer of the Year having to leave the field in Killarney last Sunday suffering from slight concussion. However, despite still suffering headaches, he has declared himself fit for Saturday's Munster SFC semi-final against Waterford.
"I was surprised (to be booked)," he told the Irish Daily Star at the launch of the SuperValu GAA All-Ireland Football 'Community Den' campaign yesterday.
"I thought I timed (the challenge) bang on, but I think the ref may have been unsighted. I think he's a good referee. I rate him as a ref, but he may have been unsighted.
"It was high impact, quite fast and I think the crowd's reaction… apparently there was a big noise off it. That may have thrown him a little bit.
"I managed to knock myself out. I came around quickly. I am a bit sore this morning, bit of a headache but I feel good.
"I was fine on Monday morning, except my head. I didn't sleep great and my head was sore."
