RTE Television will broadcast 31 live games in this year's football and hurling championship.

The national broadcaster will kick off its coverage next Sunday with the Ulster SFC preliminary round clash between Cavan and Armagh at 2pm. This will be followed by the meeting of old rivals Galway and Mayo in the first round of the Connacht SFC.

Twenty of the live matches will be available in HD. In addition, RTE Radio will have full commentary on more than 30 live games.
