Former Limerick hurler Mark Foley is seeking a transfer away from his native club Adare.

The former All-Star was an integral part of the Adare side as the made their breakthrough during the early 2000's, but he has been running a business in Ballyagran for the past few years and he has submitted a transfer request to go and play for Castletown-Ballyagran.

Foley may be in the twilight of his career, but he would be a big addition to the side. The talented defender did not line out for Adare in 2012.

Meanwhile, he is not the only Foley seeking a transfer as Mark's brother Brian is also seeking a transfer, but he is looking to go to South Liberties. Tweet
