Antrim SHC: Loughgiel and Dunloy to meet in final
September 17, 2012

Loughgeil Shamrocks have reached another Antrim SHC decider.
Three-in-a-row chasing Loughgiel Shamrocks will face Dunloy in the Antrim SHC final on Saturday week following their respective semi-final victories over St. John's and Cushendall.
All-Ireland club champions Loughgiel cruised to a 2-23 to 0-11 over St. John's - who will contest the football decider against St. Gall's - at Ballycastle. The Belfast side led twice early on before the holders clicked into gear and went on to lead by 0-15 to 0-4 at the break.
It continued to be one-way traffic in the second half with goals from Eddie McCloskey and Joey Scullion in the 36th and 42nd minutes putting the seal on a facile win for PJ O'Mullan's men.
Dunloy denied Cushendall their fifth final appearance in-a-row with a 4-11 to 2-11 victory. A Nigel Eliott goal helped the Cuchullains to a 1-8 to 1-4 interval lead and they had extended their advantage to 11 points on the restart thanks to further majors from Kevin McQuillan and Paul Shiels (penalty).
Cushendall hit back with goals from Shane McNaughton (two) and Neil McManus before Dunloy made sure of their place in the final with a fourth goal from full forward Paddy Doherty.
