Former Antrim hurling manager Jerry Wallace
Jerry Wallis has emerged as the clear favourite to take over as manager of the Kerry senior hurling team.
Kerry chairman Patrick O'Sullivan told club delegates at a meeting on Monday night that the Board was in discussions with 'a particular individual'.
The Kerryman newspaper understands that Wallis is the person that O'Sullivan was referring to.
The former Ballyduff manager has made no secret of his ambition to manage the Kingdom hurlers and he was in attendance at recent club championship games.
