Fearless Meath midfielder Liam Hayes will feature in the eighth episode of the new series of Laochra Gael on Thursday the 24th of May at 22.00 on TG4 with a repeat on Sunday the 27th at 21.00.

A member of the tough, uncompromising and very successful Meath team of the 1980s and early '90s, Liam won two All-Irelands and five Leinster titles.

Renowned for his honesty Liam talks candidly about life in the Meath jersey. The programme also includes interviews with with Meath's Seán Boylan, Dubliner Tommy Carr and broadcaster Ger Canning.
