One of the greatest hurlers ever Kilkenny's D.J. Carey will feature in the fifth episode of the new series of Laochra Gael tonight Thursday the 3rd of May at 22.00 on TG4 with a repeat on Sunday the 6th at 21.00.

The biggest star in the game from 1991 till 2005, D.J. speaks openly about a hurling career that saw him win five All-Irelands, nine All Stars, two Hurler of the Year awards and rack up an amazing tally of 34-187 in 52 championship games.

The programme also includes interviews with Brian Cody, Brian Whelehan and Pat Fleury.
