Qualter looks to survival

Roscommon hurling manager Seamus Qualter
Roscommon manager Seamus Qualter believes survival in the NHL Division 2B is their main aim.
The Rossies won promotion last year and will compete in Division 2B alongside Mayo, Armagh, Kildare, Meath and London respectively.
This will be a major step up in class for the Connacht side and Qualter admits that survival in the division will be a huge task for them.
"It has been very frustrating, very much a stop/start season so far," Qualter admitted to the Roscommon Herald. "We're just missing too many players through injury and fellas being away in college. If we survive, we will be doing well.
"We'll do our best because we don't want to go back down. Roscommon hurling doesn't need that but too many things are out of my hands at the moment."
