O'Sullivan mulling over future
January 27, 2012
Kerry's veteran defender Tom O'Sullivan will make a decision on his inter-county future in the next few days.
The 33-year-old Rathmore clubman, who made his debut in 2000, will meet with manager Jack O'Connor before coming to a decision.
He told Kerry's Eye: "I haven't thought about my Kerry future since the Dublin game (the All-Ireland final), to be honest. I have just concentrated on my club for the past few months and put the county to the side for a while. I said I would wait until we got over the (Kerry) club championship and get over the O'Donoghue Cup before I decide anything.
"It's time to think about Kerry now. I must meet up with the management this week or next week, and we will have a talk about it."
O'Sullivan added: "I wouldn't dream of going back unless I felt I have something to offer Kerry, and I'm sure they wouldn't want me back either if I didn't have anything to offer.
"I am lucky in the sense that I have won almost every medal that the game has to offer but here in Kerry we always want to come back and win more and more. We'll see what happens over the next week or two."
