Mayo ladies look for divine inspiration

The Mayo ladies have appointed a new management team for the 2012 campaign.

Fr Mike Murphy will take the reins of the side along with Carnacon supremo Jimmy Corbett and the Roundfort Parish Priest is confident that they can bring back the glory days to the county.

"I feel the players were badly treated in previous years," Fr Murphy told the Mayo News. "This is through no fault of the managers from those years.

"The managers and players didn't have the support of the old county board and a big mess was left behind. It was obvious once the board was changed that we had good people in place."
