Ballygunner manager Niall O'Donnell was left almost speechless following his side's collapse against Na Piarsaigh.

The Limerick champions staged a remarkable comeback against Ballygunner in the Munster club SHC semi final to record a memorable win for the Shannonsiders.

The same feelings were not emanating from the Waterford club's dressingroom though as they struggled to come to terms with the defeat.

"There was a few small mistakes made and nobody goes out to make mistakes, but we were really punished," O'Donnell admitted to the Waterford News & Star.

"I suppose that's just the level you are playing at. In a Munster senior semi final you cannot afford to make mistakes and they got three goals out of what I would say were positions where we were in control of the ball and we lost it. Three mistakes and you pay the price." Tweet
