Former Down manager Ross Carr has hit out at the non-selection of his son Aidan for the county senior team.

Aidan Carr was a regular in the Mourne County's defence under his father but has played a minimal part during James McCartan's reign, which saw them reach an All-Ireland SFC final in 2010, and it has left Ross Carr fuming.

Carr stated in a new book, 'This Is Our Year': "He's one of the best in Down. It feels like an incredible injustice. It's totally unexplainable." Tweet
