O'Toole's will provide the opposition for five-in-a-row chasing Ballyboden St. Enda's in the Dublin SHC final following their respective victories over St. Brigid's and Lucan Sarsfields at Parnell Park last night.

All-Star nominee Paul Ryan hit 2-6 as Ballyboden crushed Lucan on a 6-10 to 1-8 scoreline. Ryan had the ball in the back of the Sarsfields net inside the first minute and a second goal from Conor McCormack in injury-time helped the champions to a comfortable 2-8 to 0-2 interval lead.

Kevin O'Reilly opened the second half scoring for Lucan, but it proved to be a false dawn with Ryan swooping for his second goal in the 39th minute. Chris Crummy got in for a Lucan goal with nine minutes remaining, but 'Boden finished with a flourish as Tim Sweeney, David O'Connor and Conor McCormack all found the net.

The other semi-final was a much more competitive affair with Danny Webster's goal on the stroke of half-time proving decisive in O'Toole's 1-17 to 0-15 victory over St. Brigid's. After accounting for Craobh Chiarain and St. Vincent's, Brigid's came into the game with high hopes and led by two points early on. Peadar Carton levelled for O'Toole's in the 25th minute before Webster fired home in injury-time to give them a 1-10 to 0-9 interval lead.

Despite having full back Michael Cunningham sent off with 15 minutes remaining for a challenge on county under 21 star Daire Plunkett, O'Toole's had extended their lead to five points by the finish.
