Singer Ryan Sheridan will make a little bit of history later this month when he became the first person able to say that he played in both Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium on the same day.

Sheridan has confirmed he will be playing on the hallowed turf of Croke Park at half-time during the All-Ireland SFC final on Sunday 18th September. The GAA HQ gig is part of RTE's Hector Ó hEochagáin's new Fever Pitch initiative, which will also see Ryan playing the night before the big game in a special show under the Hogan Stand.

Coincidentally, on September 17th Ryan will also be playing a charity gig for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Aviva Stadium.
