Kerry return for Griffin
May 25, 2011

Kerry's Tommy Griffin
Tommy Griffin is back in training with the Kerry senior football squad.
The 33-year-old An Daingean clubman has won five senior All-Ireland's with the Kingdom but hadn't featured in Jack O'Connor's panel since last year's All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Down at Croke Park.
The experienced Griffin was injured over the winter and also sustained a hamstring problem when he returned to club action in February.
Griffin's return is a surprise, as many believed he would retire from intercounty activity, but he's now very much back in the fold.
It's unlikely he'll feature against Limerick in the Munster semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds on June 4th, however.
