Paidi's son sees red

March 07, 2011
The son of Paidi O Se was red-carded for a challenge inside the first ten seconds of Sunday's Munster senior colleges final in Killarney.

Padraig O Sé, playing at right half back for Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne, was sent off by referee Richard Moloney for a heavy challenge on Colaiste Chriost Ri midfielder Eoghan Finn, who had caught the throw-in.

Finn required medical treatment on the field of play for quarter of an hour and was later diagnosed with a broken jaw and concussion at Kerry General Hospital.

In the absence of both players, Colaiste Chriost Ri lifted the Corn Ui Mhuiri title with a 1-12 to 1-7 victory over the Dingle school.
