Lisnaskea Emmets' Niall McElroy scores a goal in the last minute of extra-time during the All Ireland Club IFC final at Croke Park.
Lisnaskea Emmets goal hero Niall McElroy has expressed his gratitude to the Fermanagh senior footballers for their support at Croke Park last weekend.
Emmets edged out St James's of Galway city after extra-time to lift the All-Ireland intermediate football championship crown.
The Croke Park encounter was attended by John O'Neill's senior football panel, who stopped off en route to Carlow for their Allianz League Division 4 opener on Sunday.
McElroy, who scored the extra-time goal which put a seal on Lisnaskea's unforgettable win, told the Irish News, "Hopefully this can drive everyone on in Fermanagh for 2011. The Fermanagh senior team came to watch us and gave us great support.
"It's brilliant and I would like to thank them for coming down and well-wishers from all over the county for coming to support us."
