Waterford's Noel Connors
Noel Connors has been named Waterford Hurler of the Year after an outstanding season in the county colours.

The brilliant young corner back, who also collected All-Star and GPA awards after helping Waterford regain the Munster championship, said he was thrilled with his latest accolade.

"It's a marvellous honour," he said.

Stradbally's Tony Grey, who led his club to a county senior championship title, was named Footballer of the Year. He was also an influential figure for the county side who won promotion to Division 3 of the National League for the first time.

Ballygunner's Pauric Mahony and Kilrossanty's Paul White received the Young Hurler and Footballer of the Year awards respectively, while county and provincial hurling champions De La Salle picked up the Jack Furlong Award after they were named Club of the Year.

Special achievement awards were won by Ballydurn/Newtown and Stradbally football manager Sean Ahearne.
