"Clean slate" in Laois - Clancy

September 24, 2010

Laois selector and former Galway star Paul Clancy
New Laois selector Paul Clancy insists any past indiscretions have been wiped off the slate by the new management team in the O'Moore County.

Clancy, a two-time All-Ireland champion with Galway, joined Justin McNulty's backroom team earlier this month.

And the Moycullen native insists that previous mistakes by any of the county's players will be forgotten about when the management team discusses the make-up of the panel for 2011.

He told the Leinster Express, "Any past misdemeanours or fallouts will not be taken into account. It's a clean slate for everybody. If you're eligible to play with Laois you're in the pot."
