Curry aiming to "rattle" Saffrons

Armagh Under 21 hurling captain Nathan Curry
Armagh captain Nathan Curry is confident that his team can give a good account of themselves in tonight's Bord Gais Energy Ulster U21HC final against Antrim.
The Middletown clubman will lead out the Orchard County for their first provincial final appearance in the grade since 1979 after shocking Derry in last Wednesday's semi-final, and is looking forward to giving the hot favourites a "good rattle".
"Obviously Antrim played very well against Cork (in the senior) and that's the level they are at and we are trying to get up to their level," he said.
"I'd play with a lot of the Antrim boys with Jordanstown and I would know a lot of the fellas through that, and they are all great lads, great hurling men.
"It'll be good to get a good rattle against them, a bit of bragging rights around the Holylands. We're going in big underdogs, but we are there and sure who knows?"
Armagh recently won the Nicky Rackard Cup and also reached the Ulster MHC final, something Curry takes great encouragement from.
"There is a lot of work going on within the clubs and schools. A lot of the success at present has been built up over the last 10 years and hopefully it will continue.
"It's been a great year, the minors getting to the Ulster final, and now us getting to the under 21 and the seniors winning the Nicky Rackard Cup. Great success and hopefully it will continue.
"The minors did very well, they beat Antrim, Derry and Down in the Ulster league and, in the Ulster final, they were level at half-time and 15 minutes into the second half, there was only one or two points in it. I think Antrim's experience gave them the nudge on in the last quarter and they banged in a few goals. The scoreline didn't really do justice, but it's a learning curve too," he added.
