SuperValu, proud sponsors of the GAA Football Championships, in association with The Irish Sun, Ireland's best selling daily tabloid newspaper, want to celebrate GAA fans who have real pride and passion in their county and local club and those who work tirelessly behind the scenes in GAA clubs around the country.
The winner of 'Irelands Most Dedicated GAA Fan' will receive a staggering €15,000 to support GAA in their local community as well as an amazing VIP package including accommodation to the All Ireland Football Final in September. The three competition runners up will also each receive a prize of €1,000 for their local GAA club as well as tickets and accommodation to the All Ireland Football Final for themselves and a friend.
To enter, simply log on to www.supervalu.ie and tell us why you or someone you know is 'Ireland's Most Dedicated GAA Fan'. Applicants are also welcome to add a photo or video to support their application and the more creative the entry the better your chance of winning this great prize.
The closing date for entries is Friday 23rd of July so why not get the whole community involved and get the application in now! A shortlist of eight semi finalists will be published in The Irish Sun on Saturday, 31st of July and the public will then be called upon to vote for their favorites. A shortlist of four representing each province will then be pitted against each other to find 'Ireland's Most Dedicated GAA Fan'.
