Finn set for battle

London's Martin Finn
London's talismanic full forward Martin Finn is determined to make up for the heartache of losing last year's Nicky Rackard Cup final.

Finn and his London teammates went down to Meath in the 2009 decider, but just 12 months later they are back in the final where they will face Armagh in the final.

The sides met in the second round of the championship an on that occasion the Orchard County came out on top and Finn believes that they should use this as motivation as well.

"To tell you the truth I'm relishing the opportunity to get out there and give it a right go," Finn told the Irish Post. "We won't fear Armagh one bit and in many ways owe them a beating."

Finn has come to London's rescue on more than one occasion down through the years and the latest was when he scored 1-2 in the dying minutes of the semi final win over Roscommon.

"We've pulled a few games out of the fire this year and we have to make sure we don't allow sides to build up leads like Roscommon did on Saturday."
